Andrea’s bungalow is absolutely adorable!
Location is close to downtown area.
My only concern was that the bungalow has a bit of a musty wet smell. As someone who has very bad allergies and is every sensitive to mold/mildew, I was a bit concerned.
The bungalow was very clean and comfy. I absolutely enjoyed my stay and greatly appreciate the hospitality

This is a great place to stay while you’re visiting Durham. It’s extremely close to Duke, 9th St, and downtown. It’s in a very nice quiet neighborhood, and the home is very clean and comfortable.

Great place; clean, quiet, and convenient. We had a nice stay and would stay there again. It was perfect for our little dog, and the area is good for walking dogs. This place was super clean and charming. Everything about it was comfortable, and there are little touches that just made it easy to settle in quickly – soap and sponges in the kitchen, soap and shampoo in the bathroom, helpful check-out list, etc. There is a nice porch on the front with a porch swing and a small table and chairs – great place to relax or to get some work done. There is a small yard in the back and a bit in front that were enough for children to run around a bit. I didn’t even notice the chairs in by the back yard and grill until I was leaving. It is in a good neighborhood with friendly neighbors, close to Duke east campus. Andrea was incredibly responsive, gave great instructions, and check-in was very easy. All around, it was a great stay, and I will likely try to stay there again.

This was a great place for an extended stay! My husband and I spent two weeks at Andrea’s bungalow and found it well set up and organized. There was a good sized dresser and bedside tables with drawers that allowed us to unpack, put our suitcases in the closet and make ourselves at home. The bungalow was both spacious and put together with a thought to privacy. The kitchen was large and adequately stocked. We loved the front porch and had our coffee out there every morning.
The location was great, just off a main artery but in a quiet neighborhood. We walked to coffee and breakfast places that were just a few blocks or so away, and there are two very good grocery stores that are a quick drive or longer walk. It’s also within walking distance of many Ninth Street restaurants and shops.
The only negative thing I can think of is that not all the burners heat well on the stove (we still were able to cook with a few adjustments) and the dishwasher was very creaky.
We would definitely stay there again and probably will since we visit Durham a couple of times a year. Thank you, Andrea, for a lovely visit!

This place was perfect for our needs. It was close to our daughters apartment and all the things she wanted to show us in the city. The rooms were spotless and cozy. We enjoyed the front porch for evening drinks and snacks. The area was quiet and reminded me of the small town I grew up in. We were also happy we could include our pup, who enjoyed herself as well. I had a wonderful experience staying at Andrea’s home! It’s decorated beautifully & is even more spacious than the photos suggest. The home is bright, extremely clean/well cared-for & has everything you could possibly need for a short or extended stay. It has a fully appointed kitchen, with new appliances & all utensils & cookware; a smart television with access to various streaming channels; high-speed wifi; a full-size washer & dryer, a lovely living room with an excellent writing desk; an extremely comfortable bed & bedroom with high quality linens, pillows, and towels; and plenty of small touches & extras to make living feel easy and comfortable. The home is located in a cute and safe neighborhood close to Duke University and downtown Durham. It is walking distance from a few restaurants and one of the best coffee shops in Durham; meanwhile, grocery stores, other restaurants & shops are a short drive away. Finally, Andrea is an excellent host. She communicates quickly and her instructions for entry and for leaving the home at the end of the stay were clear and concise. I and my pet loved staying there (happy, relaxed, etc.) and I will not hesitate to stay there again if the opportunity arises. I highly recommend Andrea’s home to everyone without reservation — just an all-around fantastic Airbnb experience!

Andrea’s place was perfect for what I needed while working at Duke. Great location, amenities and clean. Andrea was very helpful and responsive, after another location cancelled late at night, Andrea responded immediately and assisted with getting me and my pup to a safe and dry place that night! They even put down salt for the snow storm. Overall was a great experience and will stay again.

Absolutely amazing place to stay in a really nice area. On a very family friendly street with neighbors who wave. The home itself was exactly like the pictures, very cozy and cute. The bed was extremely comfortable as well (if you like a softer mattress). We could hear the neighbors on occasion but it was clearly stated in the listing and it wasn’t an issue. Would definitely recommend this place to people visiting the Durham area. Will stay here again!
